APL is a company with 15 full time staff and an available pool of 12 subcontractors. Our staff have a wide range of skills including expertise in steam, medical gases, process pipework and petro chemical. We are 100% safety orientated and continually strive to conform to the highest health and safety requirements. We can provide a full range of welding procedures for both carbon and stainless as well as quality assurance. As well as installing the pipework, on the majority of projects APL are involved in the placement of the major plant items, including ancillary additions, i.e extended vents off cooling towers, boiler flues, and more. APL can also manufacture any structural supports required for pipework or any other services.

APL have their own workshop facilities located in Auckland which is set-up for pre-fabricating any pipe work or structural steel work required. By pre-fabricating a lot of the work off site, APL can make the on-site installation process a faster and smoother task.
APL also specialise in doing shutdown work. By pre-planning our tasks and with our design knowledge, we can pre-fabricate the work beforehand to minimise the time required to have the service off-line and ensure a quick, successful shutdown. Places we have performed shutdown work include Tauranga Hospital, Rotorua Hospital, North Shore Hospital and for Spark NZ (preferred contractor).
